John E. Ford, PhD, attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Subsequently, he was awarded his PhD degree in Clinical Psychology in 1977. He is licensed to practice clinical psychology by the North Carolina Psychology Board. Moreover, he is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychotherapy. Dr. Ford also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree acquired at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania (1974) and a Master of Arts degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV (1975). He is a distinguished member of the American Psychological Association.
